Refer-A-Friend Rules
Referral submission must be completed through www.logicdata.com to be eligible for payment. Once a referral is submitted, the information provided on the form will be used to contact the referred party via phone or email. The referring party may request to remain anonymous by checking the “remain anonymous” box on the referral form, in which case, existence of the referral will not be disclosed to his or her current employer, nor will his or her name be used in the introduction or during the potential sales process with the referred party, unless anonymity is later waived. In the event that this box is not checked, LogicData has the right to use the referrer’s name for the purposes of introduction to the referred party, and is in no way legally obliged to keep the referral in confidence to any party.
Eligibility and Valid Leads
Eligibility of a referral payment will be determined within 60 (sixty) days of the referral date. Eligibility will be determined based on the ‘validity’ of the lead, meaning that the referral meets all of, yet is not limited to, the following conditions: the referred company is a discrete manufacturer with a two digit SIC code of 34, 35, 36, 37, 38 or 39; the referred company has annual revenues between $10 (ten) million and $500 (five-hundred) million USD; the referred company is actively seeking to purchase an ERP system and would consider a budget of at least $50,000 (fifty-thousand) USD; and LogicData is not already actively pursuing the lead or aware of the lead at the time of submission. While conditions for eligibility are described here, final determination lies with the LogicData Corporation, and refusal of eligibility will be explained to the referring party but cannot be contested.
Payment and Tax Information
If LogicData determines that all of these conditions are met, the referring party will receive $500 (five-hundred) USD in the form of an American Express gift card. If a single individual is eligible for two or more referral payments within one tax year, totaling $600 (six-hundred) USD or more, LogicData must issue such individual a 1099 form under U.S. tax law. The total income earned by the individual from LogicData will be noted, but there will be no deductions for federal and state income taxes, nor will any deferred compensation, social security, or medical deductions be taken. LogicData is required by law to report the 1099 income to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and the referring individual will be obligated to make his or her own tax deductions and forward such payments to the IRS.
