SyteLine Symposium 2016 is pleased to announce the speakers and sessions for its October 20-21 event in Irvine, CA.
Deeply rooted in the manufacturing industry of the western United States, the SyteLine Symposium is a unique user conference supporting SyteLine and CloudSuite Industrial users. Created by LogicData as a means bring together knowledgeable staff at Infor and the implementation specialists who bring SyteLine to life for their clients’ organizations to communicate timely updates, modifications and additions in SyteLine and CloudSuite Industrial to these enterprise resource planning (ERP) users.
Kicking off the event is a keynote presentation by Soma Somasundaram, Executive Vice President Global Product Development for Infor. As the EVP, Global Product Development, Somasundaram defines Infor's technology strategy and manages the design and rollout of the company's full suite of business applications. He also makes certain that Infor's unique technology platform creates the seamless connections between all applications that give customers unmatched flexibility.
Presenting the future of SyteLine and CloudSuite Industrial (CSI), Infor’s small-medium sized business ERP, is Dinah Gradis, Senior Director, Product Management for Infor. As the head of the SyteLine and CSI product teams, Gradis will announce the roadmap for the products as well as the new user interface for the upcoming SyteLine/CSI release. Since 2005, Gradis has led her team in evolving, developing and delivering new cloud ERP solutions for SMB space.
Eric Kimberling of Panorama Consulting Solutions will discuss how a specialty tool manufacturer implemented SyteLine with no operational disruption to their manufacturing or shipping processes. By leveraging organizational change management, readiness assessments and training plans, Panorama helped the client achieve a successful go-live. Kimberling is a widely recognized independent ERP systems expert, giving 100% unbiased advice to clients for over 20 years. He is also the author of the acclaimed book, “An Expert’s Guide to ERP Success.”
Sharing his extensive knowledge of advanced planning systems is Dave Turbide, certified manufacturing engineering and manufacturing consultant. He will go over what advanced planning systems are and how manufacturers can benefit from them. Turbide holds fellow level certification in production and inventory management by APICS (American Production Inventory Control Society). With more than 30 years of industry analysis, consulting, teaching, writing, engineering, project management, technical analysis and management experience, he has helped users of manufacturing systems to select, implement, and get better results from their systems.
Along with these industry experts, the SyteLine Symposium hosts speakers in three tracks of more than 20 topics during the two days of the evnt. Through an interactive exchange of scenarios and information, attendees gain in-depth understanding of how functionality not being used today can help make their businesses run more efficiently tomorrow. Sessions are designed to prompt attendees for specific situations for discussion and exploration of remedies within the current and upcoming versions of SyteLine by Infor product managers and fellow manufacturers. Attendees also have the opportunity to discuss additional functionality through solution partner add-ons as well as to learn how to exploit inherent functionality in SyteLine to create more optimal business processes.
