The best ERP Software is the one that meets your specific requirements and the requirements of your industry. For instance, Infor CloudSuite Industrial (also known as SyteLine) is very strong in the Discrete Manufacturing space. What most enterprises need is software that has out of the box functionality as well as a way to customize the software to fit their specific business. What type of database does SyteLine/CloudSuite Industrial use?

SyteLine runs on a Microsoft SQL Server database and uses Microsoft .Net languages (T-SQL, C#, VB.Net).

Absolutely.  The majority of customers currently adopting SyteLine are electing to deploy in a multi-tenant cloud, commonly referred to as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).  For government agencies, we offer a Gov-Cloud secure SaaS environment for an additional charge.  

How long does it take to implement SyteLine/CloudSuite Industrial?

Implementation timelines are dependent on the scope of your implementation:

SyteLine is built on the Mongoose toolset, and Mongoose is included in your purchase.  Mongoose allows you to highly personalize the environment to meet your unique business requirements.  This includes:

  • Adding User Defined Fields, extending the tables of SyteLine
  • Adding your own custom tables to the database
  • Modifying the SyteLine forms
  • Creating new forms that read existing tables and/or your new custom tables
  • Inserting logic around standard SyteLine events 
  • Modifying report layouts, such as invoices, purchase orders, transactional reports, etc.
LogicData has learned the rules over the years on how to perform the above “personalizations” in ways that won’t be impacted when a patch is installed, allowing you to stay current on the software.

As with cost, implementation time is also dependent on the same factors mentioned above. However, for a basic configuration of SyteLine annual subscription pricing can begin at approximately $18,000 annually for a minimum of 10 users or a one-time cost of $20,000 plus annual maintenance for a minimum of 5 users in an on-premise deployment.
